Final draft map for county supervisor redistricting posted for public review
Sacramento County last week published the final draft map for redrawn district lines for the Board of Supervisors. The map shows Citrus Heights is slated to remain in district 4, which is currently represented by Supervisor Sue Frost. The draft map is still subject to “proofing” by the county’s mapping team, which could cause some further modification. It is slated for final adoption at the Board of Supervisors Dec. 7 meeting. Police say juvenile who went missing found safe
In an update posted on social media Tuesday morning police said an at-risk missing juvenile had been safely located. The department had sent out a missing person alert on Nov. 10 after Derek Carpenter had not been missing for almost two days. He had last been seen in the area of Creekmont Way.
Obituary: Andrew Frei Fundulakis (1939-2021)
Andrew Fundulakis passed away of catastrophic heart failure at Mercy San Juan Hospital on Sept 30, according to an obituary published this week. He is remembered as a “quiet, kind, meticulous, honest and hard-working man,” who held a job right up until his passing. His career included service in the Marine Corps and work for Frei Real Estate Services and The Helsing Group. He leaves behind a brother and stepson. (See full obituary)
