Mystery is afoot in Citrus Heights as the cast of “Clue” is set to begin a four-week stage production based on the 1985 movie that was inspired by the famed board game.
Directed by Blake Flores, the production is set to open Jan. 21 at Theatre in the Heights. The cast of 10 includes Jaron Borque as Wadsworth, Athena Elizabeth as Yvette, and Vanessa Voetch as Miss Scarlet.
The production calls itself “[T]he comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!”
Tickets are available through Theatre in the Heights’ website, and all seats are $15. Showtimes are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4 p.m. on Sundays.
The theater company plans to follow up the current production with “Private Lives” in March, Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure” in April, and “Visiting Mr. Green” in June.
Theatre in the Heights is located at 8215 Auburn Blvd.
