Citrus Heights taekwondo instructor arrested, charged with sex crime
CBS 13 reported on June 25 that a 22-year-old former Citrus Heights taekwondo instructor was arrested after police say they substantiated an allegation that she had sexual relations with a former student, who was 14 years old. (See video)

Obituary: Christopher William Burnett (1980-2019)
Christopher Burnett, a Citrus Heights resident and founder of C&B Bookkeeping Services, unexpectedly passed away at age 39 on June 4, 2019. According to his obituary in The Sacramento Bee, he enjoyed hiking, going to Kings’ games, and attending concerts with his wife, Meredith. A GoFundMe page has been set up for his widow.
