Recall Election: Citrus Heights City Hall to open as Vote Center from Sept. 4-14th

Those wishing to cast their votes in-person for the upcoming recall election can do so at Citrus Heights City Hall, beginning this Saturday and continuing through Election Day on Sept. 14th.

The vote center will be open at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Sept. 4-13, 2021. On Election Day, the center will have extended hours, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters can also mail their ballots, or drop them off in person at City Hall or two other locations in the city. According to Sacramento County’s election website and sample ballot booklet sent out to voters earlier this month, voters can drop their ballots off at the following locations:

Two questions will appear on this year’s ballot: the first asking whether voters should remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office, and the second asking who should replace Newsom if he is removed.
