Drive-thru ‘reverse’ Trunk or Treat to be held at Citrus Heights police station

Sentinel staff report–
The Citrus Heights Police Activities League (PAL) will be hosting its annual “Reverse” Trunk or Treat event outside the police station on Fountain Square Drive this Thursday.

In a post on social media, the nonprofit police league said community members are invited to drive through the police station’s parking lot at 6315 Fountain Square Drive, between 4-8 p.m. on Oct. 28.

“Dress in costume and weave through cars and tents decorated by local businesses, organizations, and the CHPD. WE bring the treats to YOU as you drive by!” the event’s Facebook page says.

The Citrus Heights Police Activities League was founded in 2010 as a nonprofit charitable organization with the goal of “building positive relationships” between law enforcement youth. Activities organized by the League have included community events, outdoor sports, hiking trips, museum tours, and annual fundraisers to help cover costs.
