CHPD opts to not be host site for drug drop-off day
Unlike in prior years, the Citrus Heights Police Department opted to not be a host site for a national “Drug Take-back” day on April 30, citing staffing reasons. A police lieutenant said it was decided that the department would promote the take-back day through social media and refer people to nearby collection sites this year. CHPD continues to have a drug take-back bin available in its front lobby for daily drop-off needs.
