A Citrus Heights teen who was shot and killed at a party in Carmichael last weekend was remembered by classmates at Mesa Verde High School.
Fox40 reported that a San Juan Unified School District spokesperson identified the youth as 17-year-old Antonio Rocha. He was killed at a party in the 4400 block of Manzanita Avenue, where he was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.
A GoFundMe account was set up by family member Paul Fochetti who called Rocha a “sweet loving boy.”
“He loved his whole family so much, especially his little sister, older brother, father, and mother,” Fochetti said. “Tony was one of the most loving and kindest human beings in the universe and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.”
Additional details about the shooting have not been released, and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department does not have a suspect, Fox40 said in a May 31 update.
