After being listed for $1.1 million in September and dropping by $101,000 in October, a two-story, five-bedroom home in Citrus Heights recently sold for $1 million.

According to real estate site Zillow, a home on Mi Court in Citrus Heights dropped to $999,000 at the end of October while pending sale, before selling for an even $1,000,000 in December.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, the 4,200-square-foot residence has been renovated with high-end finishes and features an open-concept layout with multiple living areas according to the listing description. The home also features three fireplaces located throughout the living room and outdoor areas.

The listing indicates that appliances were included, including a free-standing refrigerator and freezer, gas cooktop, electric cooktop, double oven, microwave, range hood and dishwasher.

According to the listing description, the home has five bathrooms, including an en-suite master bathroom with dual vanities, a walk-in closet, and a balcony, as well as a landscaped backyard with a swimming pool, hot tub, gazebo, outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, playground structure with swing set and slide, and a basketball/tennis court. The property also includes storage for an RV or boat the listing says.

The home has been listed and sold multiple times over the last two decades, and was first sold in 2001 for $400,000. In 2004, the home sold again, this time for double its value, then was listed in 2008 for $895,000, but the listing was removed. In 2009, the home was relisted and sold for $499,000, then was again relisted in 2020 for $950,000 and sold in 2021 for $900,000.

Nearby homes, though not on the market, have estimated values of between $520,000 and $906,000. Another home nearby with 2,900 square feet, four bedrooms and 3 baths has an estimated value of $906,000, and another 2,600-square-foot home in the same neighborhood has an estimated value of $706,000.
