The Citrus Heights Police Department will host its first-ever Hiring Clinic on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, offering community members an opportunity to learn more about careers in law enforcement in a “relaxed, no-pressure setting.”

The clinic will begin at 6 p.m. at the Citrus Heights Police Department, located at 6315 Fountain Square Drive, according to an announcement by the department on social media. The event is designed for anyone interested in exploring a career with Citrus Heights Police, including entry-level and lateral candidates, students, and individuals considering a career change.

Organizers describe the hiring clinic as an informational event rather than a formal recruitment interview. Attendees will have the chance to meet Citrus Heights police officers and professional staff, learn how the department’s hiring process works, and receive guidance related to testing and interviews. The clinic will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into what a career in law enforcement entails.

There is no obligation and officials said the clinic is simply a conversation for those who want to see if the department is the right fit for them.

Space for the hiring clinic is limited, and advance registration is required. Interested individuals are encouraged to register ahead of time using the QR code provided on the department’s website.

For more information, visit the police department’s website or social media, or call non-emergency dispatch.
