I am new here. I love the wild turkeys. The folks here are super-friendly. All said, I am concerned about the darkness on many of our main thoroughfares. Van Maren, for example, has many dark spots, and public safety is at risk. I hope that the City Council can upgrade street lighting on all of our main intersections and roads. Perhaps commission a study by Public Works? People and wildlife will be safer from traffic.
