A new sauna and lounge opened last weekend in Citrus Heights, offering residents “luxury wellness” services including a traditional dry sauna and herbal steam room, ice room, quiet relaxation room, Japanese Tea room, and more.
RAFA Sauna Lounge Wellness Club held a soft opening Saturday, Jan. 10, the Business Journal reported, and its open hours are listed online as 4 to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
The Asian-inspired luxury sauna and lounge fills a 4,000-square-foot building at 6029 San Juan Ave, behind 7-Eleven. The building once housed a Ukrainian bank branch, and more recently it was occupied by a discount retailer called Red Tag Outlet, according to Yelp, which shuttered sometime in 2023.
Tiered membership plans are available and begin at $129 a month for four 2-hour sessions, according to the company’s website. Two-hour walk-ins without a membership are also available for $45. Space is limited. Reservations for visits can also be made online.
The company’s website lists multiple signature therapies, including a traditional Venik therapy as an add on.
The wellness club could not be reached for comment.
The RAFA Sauna Lounge is located at 6029 San Juan Ave. the corner of San Juan Avenue and Sperry Drive.
