After sitting vacant for years, a building at Sunrise Village is showing signs of new life — with signage now up for a nail salon suite.
A site map from property management company Merlone Geier shows My Salon Suite listed as a tenant in a 7,334-square-foot building at 7811 Madison Ave. in the back of the Sunrise Village shopping center near Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Sacramento Brewing Company’s “Oasis” location, a brewery-restaurant, once operated at the same location, but closed in 2009.
Online site map materials for the same building also show another nail salon listed as a tenant in a smaller suite adjacent to Visionworks.
Interior construction of the new My Salon Suite has already begun, with signage for RC Pacific Construction Inc. visible on the store’s windows.
The Salon’s website describes My Salon Suite as a business that will house various salon uses, where “beauty, health and wellness professionals can be their own boss.”
“We bring the full spectrum of health, beauty, and wellness services under one roof—from esthetician suites for rent to barber studios—helping clients and creative professionals connect and thrive,” the company’s website states.
My Salon Suite has additional sites open in Natomas, Rocklin and Folsom. The Citrus Heights location is listed as “coming soon.”
The company’s goal is to help support solo entrepreneurs with small business support through their “Your Business of One” program, which they describe as “a comprehensive guide to operating a stand-out business on your own, transforming your dreams into reality.”
A list of professionals planning to reside in My Salon Suite is not known, but the company is actively recruiting solo professionals in the beauty industry. Those interested can contact the company via their website for more information.
The shopping center has seen multiple new tenants over the last couple of years, including Club Studio Fitness, Pinkberry, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and most recently, Juice Time, an international juice and ice cream shop, which opened in January.
A new Grocery Outlet has plans to open later this spring, according to the company’s Facebook page.
