A total of 109 homes closed sale last month in Citrus Heights, with the most expensive home selling for $700,000, while ten homes sold for under $300,000.
Sacramento area real estate appraiser Ryan Lundquist said in a Sept. 21 blog update that home prices in the region are seeing a slight seasonal drop — although the market is “still more aggressive than it should be for the time of year.”
“In a normal year buyers pay less during the fall and it looks like that’s what we’re heading toward since two months in a row we’ve seen a softening from the height of the seasonal market in June,” Lundquist wrote. He tempered his remarks in noting that buyers on average are still paying above list price, although they’re not paying as high over list price compared to July
According to the most recent MetroList data provided by local real estate broker Beth Moran, the median price of homes sold in Citrus Heights was $460,000 in September.
