Vaccine clinic set for Dec. 14 at Community Center
The Sacramento County Public Health Department will host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic for those age 5 and up on Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The city said vaccines will be given on a walk-in basis at the Citrus Heights Community Center, with shots and boosters available from Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen. Obituary: Paul Allen Jones (1946-2021)
Paul Jones, a former Citrus Heights Rotary Club president, passed away on Nov. 30 at age 75. According to an obituary published in The Sacramento Bee last week, Jones was born in San Diego and later came to Sacramento where he graduated from Sacramento State. He had his own CPA practice in Fair Oaks and Elk Grove and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, two sons, and grandchildren. (See full obituary)
