A travel-focused community event is coming to the Citrus Heights Event Center where local residents will have an opportunity to explore vacation options, meet travel experts, and learn about destinations around the world, organizers say.
The Travel Show will bring together about 30 vendors, including cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators, all offering information about travel products, destinations, and vacation packages, Stefanie Shackelford, President Operations for Odyssey Travel said in an email.
The event takes place on Wednesday, April 8, held at the Citrus Heights Event Center located on Fountain Square Drive, next to Sam’s Club in Citrus Heights. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the expo will continue until 7 p.m.
The event is free, and community members are invited to attend, ask questions, collect brochures, and speak directly with industry representatives about future travel plans.
Organizers said the expo is designed to give visitors direct access to travel professionals and suppliers in one location, making it easier to compare options and learn about available promotions.
In addition to informational booths, vendors will offer brochures, flyers, and other travel materials for guests to take home. Attendees who book travel during the event may also qualify for special show promotions, vendor discounts, and prize opportunities.
The Citrus Heights Event Center is located at 6300 Fountain Square Drive.
