The month of February in Citrus Heights includes a red carpet gala inside Sunrise Mall, along with a crab feed at the community center, several career fairs, a rummage sale, and more.
Red Carpet Gala. Royal Stage Performing and Visual Arts is hosting a red carpet gala on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. The formal dress fundraising event will feature dinner, entertainment, and opportunities for photos. Tickets can be purchased at royalstage.org. Royal Stage is located at 6174 Sunrise Blvd. in the Sunrise Mall. (Link)
Rummage Sale. Friends of Feline Rescue is hosting a Rummage Sale on Saturday, Feb. 3 and Sunday Feb. 4 beginning at 9 a.m. The fundraising event will be held at 7656 Greenback Lane and will feature garage sale vendors, bake sale and craft vendors. Crab Feed. The Citrus Heights Rotary Club is hosting their 35th annual Crab Feed at Citrus Heights Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 10. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Register online here. The Citrus Heights Community Center is located at 6300 Fountain Square Drive. (Link)
Firefighters Fundraiser. Firefighters Burn Institute is hosting its annual “Fill the Boot for Burns” boot drive and safety fair on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Sunrise Mall. Along with firefighters requesting donations for burn victims, the safety fair will feature fire engines, helicopters, ambulances, interactive booths, “Sparky the Dog” and more. Craft Fair. Sunrise Farmer’s Market is hosting a Heart to Heart Market Craft fair on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature food vendors and handmade crafts vendors, as well as a free kids craft station. Career Fairs
- Single Mom Strong is hosting a Career exploration workshop on Saturday, Feb. 3. The career exploration fair begins at 11 a.m. and is open to all women, with single moms given priority for childcare.
