It’s election season, and voters on Monday will begin being able to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots at a drop box outside City Hall.
The location outside City Hall is under video surveillance and will be open 24 hours, from Feb. 5 until 8 p.m. on Election Day, March 5, according to the Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections division’s website. City Hall is located at 6360 Fountain Square Drive.
Voters can also drop off their ballots beginning Tuesday, Feb. 6, at two additional locations:
- Rusch Park Community Center, from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. through Election Day (excluding a 1-hour period from 12-1 p.m.)
- Sylvan Oaks Library, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
Sylvan Oaks Library is located at 6700 Auburn Blvd., and the Rusch Park Community Center is located at 7801 Auburn Blvd. The library location will have extended hours on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the Rusch Park location will not have extended hours.
Voters wishing to cast their vote in person will be able to do so at the Citrus Heights Community Center at 6300 Fountain Square Drive, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning Feb. 24, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
