Sentinel staff report–
A report on the amount of damage from the latest storm in Citrus Heights is now available, with the city reporting that its General Services Department received over 150 reports of storm-related incidents.
City spokeswoman Marisa Brown said reports were made by phone or the city’s SeeClickFix app, with 89 of those calls being “for downed or damaged trees, 10 for down lines and 20 for traffic signal outages.”
Brown said the city’s General Services Department “prepares year-round for storm-related incidents,” with efforts including managing creeks, maintaining storm pipes to ensure unobstructed paths for water, inspections, and doubling street-sweeping from November to January. The city also encourages residents to maintain areas near their own residence, and to chip-in at volunteer events.
