The Aquarium and Reptile Depot in Citrus Heights is hosting a week-long celebration in honor of their 13th anniversary, with all community members invited.
The customer appreciation event has become a yearly tradition, and has included vendors and giveaways, on top of shopping perks. This year, the event will last from Saturday, Feb. 21, and run through March 1, at the store’s location at 8201 Auburn Blvd.
According to a flyer shared with The Sentinel, the annual celebration will feature storewide discounts, raffles, giveaways and more.
“We decided to extend the event from a traditionally two-day event to a whole week-long event which means discounts on livestock and dry goods, giveaways, and a chance to participate in the raffle all week long,” Jason, Liang of Aquarium and Reptile Depot said Friday.
Though the celebration kicks off on Saturday, during the week, from Feb. 23 through Feb. 27, the store will continue discounts and giveaways, with an anniversary ribbon cutting scheduled for Monday.
The main raffle event will be held on March 1 where the store will be giving away over $5,000 worth of prizes, Liang said. Also new this year, a portion of all proceeds from the event will go to a charity of Aquarium and Reptile Depot’s choosing.
Store and event hours are Monday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“This event is all about giving back to our community and our customers who have made it possible for us to be rooted here in Citrus Heights for now 13 years, and be able to share this passion with everyone,” Liang said.
Aquarium and Reptile Depot is known for its wide selection of freshwater and saltwater fish, corals, reptiles and specialty pet supplies.
