A new nail and spa location opened in Citrus Heights on Friday, offering customers discounts and promotions during its soft opening event.
Luxury Nail Spa is located in the Sunrise Village shopping center, at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Madison Avenue, just around the corner from the new Grocery Outlet.
The nail salon features over 30 stations for manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and more. The stations are broken up into several alcoves, each with a ceiling-high poster of a peaceful landscape or cityscape. In the center of the salon there are also two rows of shelves filled with nail polish.
The salon is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Appointments can also be booked on the nail spa’s website.
Owners Vu and Nguyen said they have another Luxury Nail Spa location in Elk Grove which opened in 2021. Vu said the space in Citrus Heights is a good location because it is also next to Fair Oaks and there will also be increased foot traffic from the new Grocery Outlet.
Nguyen and Vu are Vietnamese and moved to the Sacramento area from San Jose, California in 2013. Nguyen has 20 years of experience working in the nail industry, Vu said.

Gateway Nails recently opened in Copperwood Square, and Rose Nail Lounge is continuing interior work and plans to open this summer in the Marketplace at Birdcage.
Next door to the new Luxury Nail Spa, My Salon Suite, which will be a beauty professionals collective housing multiple solo entrepreneurs in the beauty industry, is anticipating opening in the summer, according to the Sunrise MarketPlace Executive director.
The new nail salon is planning an official grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting in early June.
The new Luxury Nail Spa is located at 7811 Madison Ave. in the Sunrise Village shopping center.
