Sentinel staff report– A section of Auburn Boulevard was shut down Saturday morning after a vehicle collision with a pole knocked down wiring into the roadway.

An 83-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a collision on Interstate 80 near Antelope Road, according to records from the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
