Citrus Heights issued over 60 business licenses in February. Here’s what’s new

Citrus Heights is now home to a total of over 2,000 licensed businesses, with more than 60 of those being added last month, according to latest licensing data released by the city. Businesses include new retail, chiropractic, accounting, electronic repair, and others.

Around a dozen of the new licenses are registered at commercial addresses, while the remaining appear to be home-based businesses with a residential address listed. Several others included on the city’s list of 69 new business licenses for February were identified by The Sentinel as existing businesses.

Meghan Huber, the city’s economic development manager, confirmed with The Sentinel on Thursday that several existing businesses were inadvertently included on the list, which typically only includes new businesses. As of March 11, 2019, Huber said there are 2165 businesses licensed in Citrus Heights.

Below are the latest licenses issued by the city, along with the commercial address, business category and primary contact person listed. Home-based businesses are not included:
