The newest Dutch Bros drive-thru coffee shop is slated to open for business this Friday at 7853 Lichen Drive in Citrus Heights, located in the Raley’s-anchored Summerhills Plaza.
An announcement on social media from Dutch Bros Sacramento said the opening date will be 5 a.m. on Nov. 20. A grand opening event will benefit River Oak Center for Children, with $1 from each drink going to their annual toy drive, according to the announcement.
Ralph Deppisch of Cliffhaven Companies, which owns the plaza, said he’s glad to see the new coffee hot spot open and expects it will bring “added energy” to the center.
The coffee drive-thru will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The opening comes as a number of other tenants in the center renew their leases. A previous report by The Sentinel said that O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and Wendy’s renewed their leases for another five years, Dollar Tree remodeled, and Roundtable expanded their location.
Deppisch said Cliffhaven is investing heavily in the center and will be announcing more plans next month.
