Renovation of a vacant building at 7680 Greenback Ln. is nearing completion, as an area construction services company has chosen the site for opening a new permanent office.
Building Pros Partner Jamie Clifton told The Sentinel in an interview last week that the new office is already open for business, but it will be another month before construction is completed.
“We’re going to be looking to grow quite a bit here at this company,” Clifton said. “We’re already doing quite a bit of work now, but we’re hoping within the next year or so we’ll be a lot bigger than we are now for sure.”
Clifton said the Citrus Heights office will enable the company to manage commercial and residential projects throughout the region. Along with business partner Joe Perez, the pair plan to open another office in the Bay Area.
“We thought Citrus Heights was a good, central location, and we know they work well with people coming in to their city,” he said, referring to the reason the office location was chosen.
He said the City of Citrus Heights has helped move their office project along, noting that the city will “go out of their way” to encourage local business.
“They really do a great job for incoming companies in Citrus Heights,” he said. “It’s been pretty easy going as far as getting permits going. They’ve worked with us really well.”
Building Pros is currently the general contractor for the new Rally’s burger drive-thru on Auburn Boulevard. The opening date for the new restaurant is currently slated for March 3, according to Clifton.
