Citrus Heights man arrested in Lincoln
Gold Country Media reported Friday that Matthew Robert Moore, 33, of Citrus Heights, was arrested for possession of burglary tools and a controlled substance, in addition to a warrant, during a May 4 incident on Groveland Lane in Lincoln. He was subsequently booked into the Placer County Jail. (See police logs)
Surveillance video shows smash-and-go vandalism at Citrus Heights pizzeria
A 56-second clip from a surveillance camera at Mountain Mikes Pizza was published by CBS 13 on Friday, showing a masked individual smashing windows at the restaurant. The video was published following a story in The Sentinel on Thursday regarding the vandalism. (See video)
Obituary: Duane Walkingstick (1938-2022)
Citrus Heights resident Duane Walkingstick passed away last month at the age of 83, according to an obituary published in The Sacramento Bee earlier this month. He leaves behind his wife and three children, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A photo accompanying his obituary shows a picture of Walkingstick in a Native American headdress.
