Sentinel staff report–
A free event with carnival games, food trucks, music, a beer garden and a “makers market” of local artisans and crafters is planned for a new “Fallin’ into Fun” event later this month in Citrus Heights.
According to a news release, the event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 12-4 p.m., taking place behind the Bath & Body Works store in the Marketplace at Birdcage shopping center. The center is located off Sunrise Boulevard at 5975 Birdcage Center Lane, across from Sunrise Mall.
The festivities mark the first in-person event held at the shopping center since the pandemic, with Fallin’ into Fun being hosted by a partnership with the Sac Community Collective, TEAM Bradshaw and Sunrise MarketPlace.
Attendees are asked to RSVP through an Eventbrite listing, with registrants over 18 being entered into a gift card raffle.
