Laser light show planned outside Sunrise Mall this weekend

Sentinel staff report–
Sunrise MarketPlace is kicking off this year’s “Magical Moments” annual holiday events with a laser light show set for 6-9 p.m. Friday night.

The show will take place Nov. 18 on the rear side of the Macy’s Mens store at Sunrise Mall. Activities will include a laser show, inflatable tag arena, animated inflatables, and food trucks, according to an online event listing.

The event is the first of several holiday events planned by the Sunrise MarketPlace, a business improvement district made up of hundreds of businesses in the Sunrise-Greenback commercial corridor. Other events include Nutcracker performances hosted inside the mall on Dec. 15, from 5-7 p.m. Opportunities for photos with Santa will also be available at the mall from Nov. 18 to Dec. 24.

A holiday craft fair will also be incorporated into the weekly farmer’s market outside the mall on Dec. 17, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Full events listings are posted at sunrisemarketplace.com/magical-moments.
