Another vacant storefront in Citrus Heights is slated to soon be filled.

In a recently released leasing brochure for the Marketplace at Birdcage, Massachusetts-based retailer HomeGoods is listed as a future tenant for the suite next to Michaels. The location was most recently home to Stein Mart, the Sacramento Business Journal reported.

A copy of the brochure obtained by The Sentinel lists suite 6103A as “HomeGoods (Coming Soon!).” The 25,020-square-foot suite has frontage in line with Michaels and Best Buy, while a smaller 6,729-square-foot portion of the building near Cost Plus World Market is listed as available, the brochure shows.

HomeGoods spokeswoman Arielle Abramek confirmed plans for the Citrus Heights location with the Business Journal, but did not specify an opening date.

In addition to Michaels and Best Buy, the retailer will join anchor tenants Walmart Neighborhood Market, Barnes and Noble, Old Navy and Chuze Fitness among other national chains with a presence at Birdcage Marketplace. The CBRE-produced marketing brochure lists more than 20 retailers in the Marketplace at Birdcage center.

The nearest HomeGoods retail stores are in Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville, and Arden-Arcade, the company’s website shows. Other area locations include Natomas, Elk Grove, and Woodland.

The parent company of HomeGoods, TJX Companies, also owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Sierra, and HomeSense retail brands, according to the business.
