Grand openings signs announcing a new boutique thrift shop are up along Greenback Lane, near Mariposa Avenue.
Greenback Treasures opened earlier in December offering new and used items at 7680 Greenback Ln. The business occupies the space that was originally a Swanson’s Cleaners and most recently home to The Building Pros.
An announcement from Greenback Treasures describes the business as an “upper scale thrift store,” with unique items and great prices. The business offers clothing, home decor, and memorabilia. A small room in a portion of the shop also features kids toys and clothes.
Joe Perez, formerly of Building Pros, said he is helping with the new business and the city recently signed off on the occupancy permit with the inspector hand-delivering the approval personally. Construction fencing had surrounded the location for months as Perez worked to remodel the building’s interior.
Hours posted online for the business show Greenback Treasures is open weekday’s from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The business is closed Mondays.
