A new outlet store recently opened in Greenback Square on July 1.
Located on Greenback Lane near Fair Oaks Boulevard, The Cave Outlet saw a steady stream of customers on its opening day. Owners Erie Loch and Andrew Radakovitz said the store sells overstock merchandise taken from their three other locations, and everything in the Citrus Heights location is 50 percent off.
The new store boasts several racks of men’s and women’s apparel, barrels of DVDs, Blu-rays, and VHS tapes, plus pop culture toys, along with a large collection of bobbleheads and in-the-box action figures.
The owners signed a lease for the building at Greenback Square one month ago, according to Loch, who said setting up the store was faster at this location because of its small size. The Cave in Roseville is “six times the size,” according to Loch, and offers customers the opportunity to sell merchandise, including “weird” and collectable merchandise, along with general pop culture, sports, and clothing items. Radakovitz shared that The Cave Stores’ Instagram features an eclectic variety of unique items he and Loch have purchased for the purpose of resale.
The Citrus Heights location was specifically chosen because of its high street visibility and because it is located at an equal distance from the other three stores in the region, which allows the owners to travel back and forth with merchandise, Loch said.
The Cave Stores typically sell mid-brand to high-brand clothing and shoes, according to the owners, as well as various entertainment media, video games, and collectables, along with bikes, skateboards, snowboards, and even custom artwork.
The Cave opened its first location in 2019 on Bidwell Street, and a second store in Sacramento on Arden Way in 2021. The third location in Roseville on Fairway Drive opened last November, Loch said.
The Cave Outlet is located at the Greenback Square shopping center behind Sherwin-Williams Paints.
