On Saturday, May 16, AAA Northern California invites the community to visit the newly remodeled Citrus Heights branch and see our fresh new look. The upgraded Sacramento County facility brings streamlined DMV services, travel planning, and insurance options to the community, all in a refreshed, welcoming environment.
From 10 a.m.– 2 p.m. at 6109 Sunrise Boulevard, the community can participate in a range of activities starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Children will have access to a dedicated kids’ fun zone and families can get peace of mind with a free car seat inspection. The first 350 attendees will also receive AAA and Sacramento Kings swag bags. Families and community members are encouraged to explore the renovated space, meet AAA representatives, and learn more about available services.
A Reimagined Space to Serve Citrus Heights
By modernizing the existing space, AAA Northern California recognized the opportunity to transform to meet the evolving needs of its Members and solidify the organization’s commitment to the Sacramento community.
“This new remodeled branch takes the Member experience to a whole new level, while staying in our current Citrus Heights location,” said Doug Johnson, spokesperson for AAA Northern California. “This elevated presence comes with a fresh, modern look and significant upgrades to essential services highlighting the quality of AAA products and services the community has come to expect.”
Situated on Sunrise Boulevard near Greenback Lane, just across from Sunrise Mall, the refreshed branch will serve as a convenient hub for Members seeking everything from DMV services to expert travel planning advice.

A Comprehensive Service Hub
The remodeled branch embodies the organization’s commitment to being a one-stop destination for Members’ diverse needs. The facility will feature streamlined DMV services, allowing residents to renew registrations, apply for and replace license plates, and handle transfer of ownership paperwork without the hassle of visiting a crowded government office. For those planning their next adventure, AAA travel advisors will be on hand to provide personalized guidance, access to mapping tools and the TripTik travel planning app, discounted attraction tickets, passport photos, and international driving permits.
Beyond travel and vehicle services, the branch offers comprehensive insurance coverage through AAA Insurance, including auto, home, and life policies. The facility will also introduce members to AAA Smart Home Security, a service designed to meet specific security needs for those looking to protect their homes.
The aesthetic transformation itself matters, designed to make the Member experience enjoyable and efficient.
Community Connection
As one of the largest organizations in North America and recently named one of Forbes’ Most Trusted Companies in America, AAA Northern California has built a reputation on delivering genuine value and building meaningful relationships with our local communities.
As a critical touchpoint for Members in the eastern Sacramento area, the Citrus Height location offers convenient access to services that might otherwise require trips to distant offices or lengthy online processes.

The Broader Picture
This renovation is part of AAA Northern California’s larger strategy to enhance the Member experience across the region. The Citrus Heights branch joins other modernized facilities as part of a comprehensive effort to ensure AAA physical locations match the quality of service Members expect and deserve.
