ArtBeat in Citrus Heights cancelled organizers say

by Sara Beth Williams–
Citrus Heights Arts has announced the cancellation of its ArtBeat event that had previously been scheduled for June 13.

The event was originally planned for October 2025 but was postponed after rainy weather forced organizers to cancel. Citrus Heights Arts later rescheduled the event for June 13, 2026.

In a brief announcement shared on social media, the nonprofit organization said it was unable to move forward with the event as planned.

“We appreciate the support and enthusiasm from our artists, vendors, performers and community members who planned to participate,” Citrus Heights Arts said in a statement.

The organization also announced that all vendors who have already paid booth fees will receive a full refund. Organizers said they will be contacting vendors directly with additional details regarding the refund process.

ArtBeat was envisioned as a community arts celebration featuring local artists, vendors and live performances. The event was expected to bring together residents and visitors to highlight local creative talent and support the arts community in Citrus Heights.

No information was provided regarding whether the event may be rescheduled for a future date, or the reason as to why the event was cancelled.

Additional updates will be posted by Citrus Heights Arts through its social media channels and other public communications.
