E-bike safety course at MVHS cancelled, organizers say

By Sara Beth Williams–
Citrus Heights Police announced this week that a planned E-bike safety course that was scheduled for July 25 at Mesa Verde High School, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Organizers say the hands-on safety course was designed to provide safety information to riders of e-bikes and families. Two sessions were scheduled to take place in the morning and afternoon, and both sessions are cancelled, police said.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We know many of you were looking forward to this event,” the department wrote on social media.
