The city plans to host its second annual summer concert in the park series, “Citrus Nights”, with the first concert in the series taking place on Friday, Aug. 21, at Van Maren Park.
There are two events scheduled for this year, both featuring live music, food trucks, and family activities. The events are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, and Friday, Sept. 18, 2026. Both events will take place at Van Maren Park.
City officials say additional details, including entertainment lineups and participating vendors, will be announced as the event dates draw closer.
Citrus Nights debuted in 2025 as a way to bring residents together for an evening of outdoor live entertainment. The 2025 ‘Citrus Nights’ concert in the park featured live music, a variety of food vendors and activities designed for all ages.

The return of Citrus Nights continues the city’s efforts to provide free community events throughout the year. In recent years, Citrus Heights has expanded its calendar of public gatherings, including the annual Stars and Stripes Celebration, seasonal community events and other family-oriented activities held in city parks.
