The Veterans Community Center will hold its annual fall yard sale over two days in October, with proceeds supporting the Citrus Heights veterans center and its community programs.
The sale is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Veterans Community Center, at 6921 Sylvan Road.
The two-day sale will include an outdoor garage sale along with indoor estate and Elvis Presley collection sales, according to the center.
Donations for the sale are also being accepted through Oct. 2.
The Veterans Community Center is operated by volunteers and hosts activities and services for local veterans. The center has previously identified its fundraisers as an important source of support for its programs as it receives no government funding.
The Veterans Community Center is located at 6921 Sylvan Road in Citrus Heights. For more information on the yard sale and other upcoming events for veterans, visit the center’s calendar of events page.
