Citrus Heights residents who want to brush up on their recycle-sorting skills can play a game on the city’s website.
The game offers participants to select between 1-5 levels and allows users to drag and drop various items into the proper bin. Items like K-cups and straws, when incorrectly dragged to the recycle bin, will notify the user that the wrong option has been selected.
The game was featured in a new video published on the city’s Youtube page on Thursday. The video also informs residents of other tools available through the city’s website that help answer questions related to waste collection.
By visiting citrusheights.net/Collection-Schedules, residents can enter their home address to find out collection schedules, as well as find other related information.
