Sentinel staff report–
A portion of Auburn Boulevard will be shut down Saturday morning as the Citrus Heights Community Marching Band hosts its annual pet-themed “Howl-o-Ween” parade and harvest festival.

The parade is slated to start at 9 a.m. on Oct. 21, at Auburn Boulevard and Twin Oaks Avenue, and continue to Rusch Park, according to information posted by the city. A harvest festival will follow, beginning at 10 a.m. in Rusch Park, continuing until 3 p.m.

The event is scheduled to feature a canine costume contest, craft fair vendors, food, live performances, and a variety of other contests. A Police Activities League Car Show is also on schedule.
