Why not take advantage of the unlimited homeless government wasteful funding and serve surrounding areas (Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Sacramento) with complete low-wall cubicle housing, food, therapy, rehab, etc., by using the Sunrise Mall to house the areas homeless.

Economically set up hundreds or thousands of beds, fridges, TV’s in Sears, both Macy’s, etc.

The City of Citrus Heights collects $ millions to delegate care for the unfortunate with plenty of services to get them back on their feet. Citrus Heights [could] utilize the Sunrise Mall to provide an amazing service using the massive unused former
mall for a huge humanitarian issue. Other Citrus Heights departments could locate there as needed.

Let’s face it, there’s plenty of room. This would be a nationally recognized humanitarian solution for people living on the streets. Sacramento alone has over 5,000 [unhoused] sleeping outside each night. Since no future businesses or housing or entertainment are interested in the Sunrise Mall, this is the $ profitable answer for the Citrus Heights city council. Acres of empty existing buildings to help people start a new life, funded by current Washington DC, state of California, and surrounding city’s massive homeless budgets, that have shown few results. The unneeded empty mall is the answer.
