Police responded Thursday evening to a reported verbal disturbance involving several minors at a local apartment complex on Sunrise Boulevard.
According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, officers were dispatched to Sunrise Pointe housing complex after reports of several juveniles causing a verbal disturbance.
Authorities said officers contacted several minors at the scene and also followed up with others who attempted to leave when police arrived.
Police said Saturday that after investigating, officers determined there had been no vandalism and no threats of violence made. Law enforcement officials said the teens had been congregating in a main hallway near a couple of apartments, engaged in a verbal dispute, but were not targeting any specific apartment.
Radio traffic from the incident indicated that the reporting parties told dispatchers the juveniles had been banging on an apartment door.
Police said the incident was not gang related.
No arrests or citations were reported in connection with the disturbance.
