Susie Rodgers, general manager at Sunrise Mall, has accepted a new position as marketing manager for the Sacramento Downtown Commons, (DOCO) leaving her former position on Oct. 31.
As marketing manager, Rodgers will work under Christi Woodards, who also previously served as Sunrise Mall’s general manager.
“It’s bittersweet for me to inform you that after almost nine years at Sunrise Mall, I am moving on to a new opportunity,” Rodgers said in an email announcing her job transition. “There are so many exciting things happening downtown, and I am looking forward to being part of it.”
Rodgers said Jill Tarabanovic, property administrator at Sunrise Mall, will continue to assist in day-to-day operations while the Long Island, N.Y.-based Namdar Realty Group, primary owners of the mall, finds her replacement. A representative from Namdar was unavailable for comment.
The Sacramento Downtown Commons (DOCO), is a two-level, outdoor mixed-use entertainment and shopping complex consisting of 630,000 square feet of retail shopping, dining and entertainment space, and is home to the 17,500-seat Golden 1 Center, home of the NBA Sacramento Kings.
