Just in time for the winter season, a new winter sports equipment shop opened on Auburn Boulevard the day before Thanksgiving.
The new shop specializes in rental and resale and is called Re-New Winter Sports. The shop previously operated in Orangevale, according to online records. The owner said they wanted to move to a new, bigger location.
The shop sells used ski and snowboard equipment and winter clothes, and offers daily rentals, seasonal rentals, waxing, and winter equipment for sale.
The owner said he’s happy to be in a larger space, along with significant traffic on Auburn Boulevard. He anticipates things to be smoother when construction is completed.
Re-New Winter Sports is located at 8252 Auburn Blvd.
