Latest Letters to the Editor discuss solar panels in parking lots, and building pedestrian bridges from Sunrise Mall to the Marketplace at Birdcage.
Solar in Parking Lots: Why on earth would you consider cutting down trees to put up solar panels??!! We have miles and miles of parking lots that are already cleared and ready for solar. Why do you always go for the most complicated plan when this is a very simple plan? Geez guys, I’m not a engineer and I thought of this years ago.

Pedestrian Bridges: I grew up and lived in the Orangevale/Citrus Heights area for 49 years. With the increased population, traffic and need for safety it would be smart to include one or two walking bridges (both ends which could be part of the proposed trail) to connect Sunrise Mall and birdcage areas. This would boost the economy for both shopping centers by creating convenience and safety for families. Thanks you for inviting people who care about the growth and safety of our community to share their opinions.
