Citrus Heights sports bar passes out free meals to homeless
ABC 10 reported last week that The Couch sports bar on Madison Avenue conducted its annual meal giveaway, handing out free meals to homeless. Despite being closed down due to COVID-19 restrictions, the sports bar opted to continue its annual tradition by delivering the meals, along with socks and blankets. (see video)

Orelle Creek Court lights featured on CBS 13
Another Citrus Heights light display was featured on CBS 13’s “12 Dave’s of Christmas” last week, this time focused on Orelle Creek Court off Old Auburn Road. Annual displays light up the entire court, drawing visitors from all over the region. (See video)

Obituary: Robert (Bob) Lee Becker, Sr. (1932-2020)
Bob Becker, a lifelong resident of Sacramento County, passed away on Dec. 14, according to an obituary in The Sacramento Bee. Becker worked over four decades in the automotive industry as an owner and general manager of several car dealerships. He is survived by his five children and numerous grandchildren.
