Citrus Heights Chamber seeks new executive director

By Sara Beth Williams–
The Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce is in search of a new executive director, after its former director stepped down last month.

“The Executive Director position at Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce is a linchpin for the city’s economic prosperity,” the chamber wrote in an email update to its members on Tuesday, adding that the director helps shape “a high-performing team of staff and volunteers and foster continuous improvement.”

Former executive director of the chamber, Diane Ebbitt-Riehle, had her last day on Jan. 12, 2024. In an interview, Ebbitt-Riehle said she “thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone” including chamber staff, Citrus Heights city staff and the Sunrise MarketPlace. Ebbitt-Riehle became executive director of the chamber in April of 2020, after the position was vacant for several months.

Prior to 2020, Ebbitt-Riehle served as a volunteer on the chamber’s board of directors. In 2008, she served as president of the Chamber of Commerce, and still volunteers on the board of the Citrus Heights Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) as well as with the Citrus Heights Rotary Club.

“We all have a common goal and that is to make Citrus Heights a better place, for both business and to live,” Ebbitt-Riehle said.

The chamber is accepting applications until Feb. 2, at 4 p.m. A salary of $66,560 to $73,000 is listed for the position. A minimum of five years in management or executive level experience is listed.
