The prominent building once home to The 99 Cents Only Store and Crunch Fitness at the corner of Greenback Lane and San Juan Avenue has been listed for sale, according to commercial real estate site LoopNet.

The 43,600-square-foot building, constructed in 1964, sits on a 3.65-acre parcel and is divisible for “fitness, retail, entertainment, medical, and specialty uses” and also benefits from exposure to an estimated 72,000 vehicles per day, the listing states.

The owners have already secured a new tenant in the 99 Cents Only space the listing says.

One of the current major future tenants is Pacific Northwest Thrift Shop, with a lease through November 2027.

On a visit to the building last week, no future signage for the tenant was displayed; however, electrical work appeared to be ongoing within the interior.

Efforts to reach a CBRE commercial real estate agent to confirm the future tenant were unsuccessful, and the property owner could not be reached for comment. The Sentinel was also unable to contact the company reportedly slated to occupy the site.

The online listing indicates that 19,900 square feet of space is available for leasing and that the owner is currently “exploring” leasing the remaining space while the buildings are listed for sale.

Green Acres Nursery and Supply also occupies a space in the same parking lot, facing San Juan Avenue, and the building housing the nursery is not included in the sale.

The property is surrounded by a range of shopping centers with popular national retailers, including shopping centers anchored by Safeway, Sam’s Club, and Kohl’s.

A price for the buildings was not immediately available, as an agent with CBRE was not able to be reached.
