Nearly every window of Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Sunrise Boulevard was smashed in with a hammer by a masked suspect in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 8, in what police say appears to be a “targeted” act of vandalism.

The Citrus Heights Police Department will host a Safety Day event for kids at Rusch Park this Sunday, with the event giving kids an opportunity to check out emergency vehicles, get free helmets and learn how to call 9-1-1.
